Occupational Therapy is a licensed health and rehabilitation profession that helps individuals achieve independence in their lives. Occupational Therapists work with people of all ages who because of physical, developmental, social, or emotional problems, need specialized assistance to lead productive and satisfying lives.

Occupational Therapist's education includes:  anatomy, physiology, psychology, human growth and development, and neurosciences with emphasis on the social and emotional effects of disease or injury.

Occupational therapy addresses the physical, cognitive, psychological, sensory, and other aspects of performance in a variey of contexts to support engagement in everyday life activities, that effect health, well-being, and quality of life.

Holistic Occupational Therapy  in the context of this practice, is a mind/body/spirit approach for treating the whole person for the purpose of achieving higher levels of function in all aspects of life.  Holistic occupational therapy is a combination of Eastern and Western approaches that includes a comprehensive treatment program with functional evaluation and home exercise program, with a focus on manual (hands-on) therapy and mind/body practices  Breathwork, neuromuscular re-education, relaxation techniques, stress management, lifestlye coaching, and myofascial stretching may be integrated into sessions. Holistic occupational therapy helps clients achieve wholeness in all areas of life. Occupational Therapy requires a physician referral and may be reinbursed by insurance. ( All ages welcome)
