Walter Blick is a New York State licensed massage therapist, licensed occupational therapist, certified craniosacral therapist and mind/body wellness coach with a diverse background in the areas of health, wellness and healing. Walter completed extensive studies in a variety of bodywork and manual therapies including: craniosacral therapy (CST) with the Upledger Institute, myofascial release (MFR) with John F. Barnes PT, biodynamic craniosacral therapy with Michael Shea, PhD (2 year training program), visceral manipulation with the Barral Institute, and many systems of energy medicine. Walter is a teaching assistant for the Upledger Institute and is certified in upledger and biodynamic craniosacral therapy.
Walter has worked with both adults and children in a variety of settings including: wellness centers, schools, hospital rehabilitation, and home - based therapy. In addition to his private practice, he currently works at an integrative medical center (patientsmedical.com) with a team of physcians and other holistic practitioners.
Walter has undergraduate degrees in Health Sciences (BS) , Health Management (BA), Massage Therapy, and a Master's degree (MS) in Occupational Therapy. Walter is a former karate instructor, judo/jiujitsu practitioner and Golden Gloves Boxing Champion. He currently studies and practices chi kung and mindfulness meditation.
